Well....that is life! I don't think it is fun to be a maid in the first place....to give up your own lifestyle and to serve strangers. At most times.... gotto see the bosses' mood and faces. So
frankly if my maid really took the 3K.....then it is good for her.
I won't really make this a huge issue. My intention of getting a maid is to help look after my old man and frankly he was no saint....so cranky most of the time. And for a woman to look after a
strange old cranky man....is no bed of roses too.
Let's take it as a huge bonus for being picked to do the "dirty job" and since my old man has died
I'll just let it be and move on myself.
Money can be make.....so, no problem to me to "let her have a way out of this cycle of life on a maid". Only hope she does not make this a "habit". Heaven is my witness!!!

Stock market
Since my last up-date for the above, the market has dropped another 300 points and my paper-lost has increased to almost half or 45%. Fxxk!!
Well....not only me is suffering from this, in fact most people who buy "long" are hitted with huge losts but the "shorts" made big money from this situation. That is the way......the world moves!
"Win some, lose some".....a zero sum game! And depending on which side you are on....may win or may lose also.
For 4D and ToTo....the chance is likely to lose more than to win. For stock market, you got a choice or can also stand aside and watch the game that don't cost you a cent to do.

For tomorrow....Sunday 20/1, I got a feeling my car number 5928 will come in and hopefully straight-on and at the top prizes too hahaha. So....don't say I don't give good tip.

For the pau pau part - still NIL.
For the above...still awaiting for my sweety pie to give me some of her honey. So far so bad for myself....no honey, no money and no pity from my honey :(
But since rec'd email from honey that next Wednesday we can meet lor....at least now I got something to look forward too.

Well....for the 2 items, see "no smoke" on Monday - toto, Wed - 4D and today - toto. the nearest I came to was 2nd prize....I bought 3535 but it came out 3565 or also can 10K. Nearly kena another small but useful little straw again hahaha.
Lucky I gave a miss for the stock market, from the looks of things the end for the huge drops
is near. It would be great if I can have a big straw now to act as "capital", but since there is still no such luck I gotto make do with whatever I can lay my hands on.
Or the other way....is to totally give up on the stock market, so boring losing money. Come to think of it....really stupid for so long.

4D up-date.
Hahaha....Bought I-bet for the 2 balance sets of number but too bad, no smoke :(
And for about the stock market....just don't know when the whole sub-prime issue can be settled, as I am still holding on to a big chunk of shares. Already suffered a 35% paper-lost for the value of the stocks I am holding on last Friday but by end of today....shit, LOST another 8%. Shit the whole STI....keep dropping or should I say most of markets in the world also "drop". - So on this front...no good luck lor.

A straw can be a great help esp for a sinking man!!! So...I don't mind that tiny little straw :)

My dad's maid
Guess....being poor can be easily be tempted when there are a bundle of dollar notes laying around for easy picking. Therefore not easy to control the temptation esp for a poor old maid.
For the record....looking back when my dad told me that he was losing his money, I didn't believed him. Yes! now I admit that I was wrong about the maid. Now for a fact....there is a different of more than 3K ( I personally saw and count the money before my dad got home from hospital and recently when I open his bag to look for the money ). What is left is $16+K and not the $20K. No wonder she can buy a new hp...now she has 2. She did ask me for her "advance" pay and that was to put me off her track. She didn't know that I did count the money before.
After my dad came back from the hospital...everywhere he goes I was with him and I used my own money for paying for all expenses so there is no reason for the huge different. Another thing is that he does not buy any toto or 4D after he was discharged from hospital. The trouble for my dad was that he must see his money and he kept at least a few hundreds in his pockets every day. He did complaint to me that he lost that amount a few times....I thought he was having dementia so I didn't bother about it. He also won't want me to keep his money for him, so in one way...cannot blame the maid lor. So much money....and no one would believe the old man when he complains.
Okay....I won't disclose this info to my wife or she will make a huge fuss but I will only disclose the truth after I send the maid back to the agency which is after the 49 days. No good to get her into trouble for a few thousand and also it was more of my old man's fault to tempt her with the bundles of dollar notes.
True.....$$$$ can made a honest person "dishonest". Now....I won't recommend the maid to any of my friends unless they have no money laying around and they are willing to accept the risk of losing money in their home....on 2nd thought, this is not good. Better don't recommend at all.
