So....went to all the temples that I have prayed before to give "thanks" for the flat thing and also went down to Waterloo St temple for "chaim see" for the coming months. Wah this time...got a good chaim see ( no 86 ) Myraids of flowers bloom to fill the house. From 10,000 li becomes gold for you and a carp jumps through the three Dragon gate to become a dragon. A sudden burst of good omen issue from the earth.
Interpretation = The king bestows one with honour, a very poor person receives a priceless treasure. Be content, as this is indeed a good prediction!
Oh....for record, went to pray at the temples at Punggol but with my wallet running low...just $18 left, so after praying went to NTUC to buy fruits for my home. Checked and went to the ATM, suddenly totally forgot my PIN no. Already pushed wrong pin twice....so stopped before card kena "eaten" if failed again. So...went to car, wah got lots of coins then go for breakfast. Oh at NTUC...used my NTUC credit card to pay. Calm down after eating....then remember the pin no. Went to get $200 then went home to pray pray my home's gods.
At noon, went off to pray pray at Waterloo and the rest of the temples. Got home at 4+pm...and fell asleep hearing Hokkien's song.

Oh...flat sold at $348K
Funny lei...with old valuation at $335K just plan to let go with $8K to 10K cash but after 3 months and countless viewing, no one offer anything more than $5K cash. But this time with a higher valuation of $340K....the 4th viewer walked in and immediately offered to buy with $5K cash. The thing is they missed on viewing time and we are supposed to go for dinner at Mouth Restaurant but they did called up at last minute to wait for them.
By that time...when they went down the block to talk to my agent, we went for our dinner but by the time we reached there my agent called me to come home for the cheque. So funny...the young couple still have a 5 room flat at Sengkang and have not even do a valuation and they are supposed to look-see-look-see only but the wife fell in love with my flat esp with the roof garden's view from my living room.
Since they are both teachers...they do have quite a bit of CPF left and their agent
even pay for them first. Oh, btw the agent is the lady's aunt hahaha.
Now....with this done and settled, I can look forward to clear my debts and start again ( not with new gf hehehe - guessed my honey has mistaken me lei ).

Up-date for the past week
Kena....5370 on Sat and 9582 on Sun, total = $650. Just nice to clear the past 2 weeks bets lor.
For work....well still high tension esp with the pending "excerise" coming up soon.
After that....hopefully things will be clearer and calmer too.
For the flat....just managed to get the new valuation and MAN! somehow it has gone up by another 5K to 340K. That would made selling easier....can asked for lesser cash. Plan to let go for 350K.
Wife already got news that she will start class at Ngee Ann Poly and daughter will be starting class at Republic Poly soon. So...the plan is to get a place nearby maybe at CCK MRT or at Bt Panjang/Hillview area. Most likely to go for a condo for now....and to watch out for the flat price to drop than get one also around that area too. Still will aim for a 4-room one. Yeah....things are looking better now then a month ago. Once this present flat is out....I would have clear everything and can have a fresh start again. No worry!

Spending most of my free time watching movies
hahaha...yes! been watching lots of movies mainly from internet downloads and go to theaters for others.
saw in theaters....the Red Cliff 2, Curious case of Benjamin Buttons, Defiance and Inkheart.
from the internet downloads....mainly korean dramas and movies plus a few English comedy ones. can be quiet fast...appearing in the internet for downloading.

Slumdog millionaire
Well....saw this movie from the internet download....and YES! another great feel-good movie set in India.
Started by the hero being whacked up in the police station becoz no one could believe he managed to get so far in the "Who-wants-to-be-a-millionaire talk show"
and how he managed to answer correctly the questions put to him.
As in the show, he too cannot believe that the questions are mostly related to his childhood days while he was living in the slum. Only a couple of question, he is not too sure or didn't know but still he managed to get thru by playing by the show's rule.
A simple movie....with low budget but with a great story line being told well by the directing people. It is a show for the under-dog lovers....like myself.

Starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blandett....it is a nice show about relationship and how people would view it as it goes thru the various stages esp when the lovers' age is concerned.
In the movie....Brad Pitt was borned old and he became younger by the days while his love....Cate Blandett was born normal, meaning from young to old.
Have to fully understand the story or the plot to fully appreciated what was going on or what the movie is all about.
With the recent case of the female teacher raping the male student....then can understand why people won't take it lightly for such a case. In the movie....Brad Pitt goes away from Cate Blandett when she had a child....and as in the movie, he is getting younger by the day while the wife is getting older...plus the fact that the child is also growing up, he made up his mind to go away saying that his wife would never be able to cope with 2 children.
Yes...at 1 time, he did went back to look at his family. He met his child who is around his age....and his wife saying that he is a family's friend. Later she went to see him in his hotel room and made love....so weird, she with her aunty look and he as a young lad for the last time. And the next time they met, was when the police found Brad Pitt as a young little boy but having demantia. Later he turned into a little baby and die in her arm.
A moving story....

wah rao....lei! Valentine is coming....jai lat lei, and I am working too. Hehehe maybe that is a good excuse.
no luck for 4D and toto....so money is tight lor. now with the retrenchment thingy hanging around our necks....best to keep a tight fist on the wallet. no flowers...
maybe go for nice dinner on sunday with my old goat lor. for the new goat, also keep a super low profile.....will play it by the ears lor ( no honey...no present lor hehehe ).
