Looking at life with all the disasters happening around us.

Yes....now esp at the stock markets around the world from US to Tokyo. But the worst is the PRC ones...they have great impact for me becoz most of my funds are invested there.

Can only hope that by the next couple of years....things will be better than now. I can only hope so for my sake lor. I also know of a whole lot of people that are having the same feeling of impact as me....so I am not alone getting screwed by this meltdown. Not that should make me feel better...but it really did.

Look around....even those "Ang Mo bankers" are also half dead now if not nearly dead. And if I can keep a low profile meaning spend less on the fun things...then I should be still around for a long time maybe just feeling a little tighter in my pocket. Cannot anyhow spend money lor. No fucking around or maybe less screwing around lor....gotto keep it a low profile. Well my motto of "No money, no honey" will ring true lor....I can understand that as I am not young anymore. In fact....I always have this policy, I never had any free fuck even when I am young.

AS for the latest bailout by the US lawmakers....I don't think the situation can improve much immediately but at least....there is a "base or floor" for which things to get better and improved on. So....looking at the share market here....I expect the shares to drop further before things can improve maybe at towards the end of this month. October is never a good month for shares trading here or in US....and in the US, Fed will have to cut interest rate down further so that the housing market can get back on their feet sooner.

Here is the same....once the share market stablised then the housing market can do the same too. Or else...no one can do any serious buying of all the outstanding condos and pte houses which will in turn then impact the HDB market.

Presently....the HDB resell market is still pretty solid becoz of PR buying and the lack of new buildings. The PRs buy becoz rents are high...and also the valuation of the HDB is high....so they only have to pay a low up-front cash for it then they will rent out the spare rooms to get back some cash every month.

Okay lor....let's hope things be better next year or we will be worst off further.
