4D up-date
No luck....lately, but didn't open....stopped then immediately "open". Luckily just came in as starter so not so heartpain lor.
Up-date - Wednesday
Wah....it was a while since I last up-dated here and lots of things have changed. Work is still tough....cannot enough headcount but work must still be done. So....it is tough for everyone, but for myself the added stress is the expectation is not reduced and due to the ramp-up....it is like in HELL. Pressed the workers too hard...they just go on mc which is still easily available from the clinics. So...just gotto managed the workers and boss's expectation carefully.
I went thru the 8-weeks Forex course which just ended on last Monday....but since I signed up for the extended 6mths course, I still have to go every Tuesday's afternoon for the next 4 mths.
For the T3B - Wealth Management course, I went for the 2.5days course ( Sat, Sun and Mon ) and really enjoyed it. This really gave me my confidence back for stock trading
and this time....I'm really confident to make money. If not...then, even I mati I won't be missed. REALLY!!!! becoz the method must be strictly followed....no need to be too smart esp for when to buy and sell. Just a simple rule....buy at break peak, and sell at break trough. No break...no buy or sell. SIMPLE right???
My opinion for the courses....Forex - this is something totally alien to me but since I go with an open mind, I have no regret to spend the money for it anyway it is just 2mth's old....gotto go for another 4 mths to really judge whether or not it is right for me. The fee was 3.3K then money needed to fund the account with Onada for trading. That's another few more thousands.
As for the T3B one....even just after the 2.5 days thingy, my confidence for the whole method thingy is really sky-high even that I have not open the CFD - DMA to actively trade. I have done the back testing....and side testing and at the end of it, still considered this one really worthed my while and expense. Not cheap......
just be the course it is already 3.1K plus another 600+ for the trader screener's software. Then....for the CFD-DMA account, gotto pay for the Reuters' data feed and since I opened 2 trade areas ( SGX and Hang Seng ) that would be another 100+ every mth which can be off-set if I have a minimum of 4 trades per mth. Then the funding for the account.
In total for the 2 courses and funding plus other expenses....already set me back by 25K. Well...most ( 70% ) of it went to the funding part and this is still part of my inital layout for trading. Will have to add....as I trade more that is if things went well and smooth for me. I will also be a full-time trader....meaning I hope this will provide me with a steady income every month which is about the same as what I am getting now. I want to quit my other part-time jobs...insurance and house agent. So much attention and time for so little income and yet....kena lots of stress and pressure from clients and bosses.
Hopefully too....if everything goes as plan, I maybe go for a simple job with a small pay just to take off some of my free time. Man with lots of free time....will be tempted to do other foolish things hahaha.

Wah....pang, it's Sunday
Man.....at long last, managed to get thru these 3 "crazy hell" nights at work. It's just crazy with much lesser headcount than the day team but kena compared with them.
Btw their daily headcount was at least more than 15 to 25 more girls/guys. Even an idiot will know it is so unfair to do such a comparison esp with such big different.
So...of course it is such a relief when I come to the end of my team and am looking forward to my 3 rest days.
Not long ago...I was always looking forward to see my girls and to work but lately I am starting to sweat whenever I think of work. Frankly it is the people.....not the worry about more work and having to work harder. I never have this fear of working harder than others....in fact, I do enjoy my work and doing a good job too. I personally think....back-stabbing is just getting out of hand at my workplace. In fact, it is never good for the company if there are this culture of back-stabbing involved. So sad....since we are already been told that by end of next year the company will shut down to shift to China. From the look of things....most of us will be out of job by next June or latest Aug, so that there are still time to shift or sell off the remaining equipments and machines.

Share market vs forex
Lately...most shares are down. My friend who went for a share market class managed to make about 13K on Aug and Sept...but this month he lost about 8K back. This really show that even the best traders will loose money in a down market no matter how clever you are becoz if always in the market....and when market turns, somehow will be caught "naked" one way or the other esp for full-time traders. For part-time traders....the risk is more greater becoz it needs constant monitoring all the time.
And there is no program to stop-lost and take profit if market changes. Ask the remiser to monitor then....kena scolding becoz we are so small that they won't be bother or too busy to care. But to us.....even loose $500 also heart pain esp at time like now.
Even for forex market thingy....in the end after the whole course, I may not trade if I still not sure how best to make money. For now....not a time even to loose a hundred dollar.

Forex class
Frankly....didn't really learned much after attending 3 sessions, still don't really understand the whole issue about forex trading becoz for the 1st time on this Monday they want us to do "live trading". Meaning actual trading with real money....but small amount only. I have already put in US$2K as my margin. Till now...already lost less than US$2 in one of the trades. US$ vs AUD....my EURO vs Pound trade is still not fulfilled.
Just don't want to be too exposed at the moment since I catch no balls during the classes. And I am not alone with that....another guy who also paid the 3.3K fee also is unhappy with the whole thing so far. I have voiced my concern to the trainer...but
he advised me to be patient with the whole thing as he will touch on my concern this coming session on Monday. Well...let's wait and see.
One thing I realised is that in forex trading....there are greater flexibility during a trade as compared to share market. In share market...when it is a down market....almost every share is down or just stay flat and there is nothing anyone can do a thing about it. Even the best...tends to lose in such a market. While for forex....can always trade with currencies pairs if not happy with the usual ones. And there are at least 50 over major pairs and at different time horizons or just sit out a trade. Another thing is....can just key-in a trade with stop-lost and take profit in place. In that way...no need to sit the whole day looking at the pc which in share trading cannot afford if trade with big sum of money becoz of the commission involved....too expensive while for forex the different is pretty small and is built into the price as a "spread".

LIFE....time ( my 4 rest days ) moved so fast when everything is smooth. Hardly give one a chance to have a breath so to speak. This week is such a week for me....smooth in the sense that there is nothing bad or good happened, but all end so fast like in a "blink". If need to put to words, then don't know where to begin nor end.
Anyway....it's gone and now back to work.
Okay...back to Sunday 1st day for the 9th mth in lunar calendar, I went to the usual temples to pray. Also asked for a chiam-see at Waterloo Temple. POWER...got no 85 which stated that "For a elderly man seeking fame and fortune...has to wait patiently for a benefactor to point the way to one last big fortune waiting to be claimed"...same same like the flowers blossoming in spring. MAN! it hits me at the right spot hehehe.
Really made me feel old....and desperate, seeking my last fortune or die seeking it.
But in the last part of the chiam-see...it also stated that I will be able to get it in the end if I am patience enough while looking for it....in fact, I must seek out the benefactor who then point me in the right way to it.
To me...maybe it is the forex trading that will help me in the end to seek my fortune of retiring young or at least...not really needing to push so hard after my job at my present workplace ends. That would give me time to enjoy the lifestyle of living in a condo to continue.
Yes....living in a condo is totally more superior than say....living in a brand new HDB flat. Even living in my present condo....yes, it is already more than 10 yrs old but the quality of life it gave me....is beyond anything I experienced before. Now, I swim often....same goes to having a workout at the gym or going to the sauna afterwards. At no time...did I have such luxury which I only experienced when on holiday. Yes....like I told my family, now...I don't have to go on holiday to enjoy all these stuffs. For even food...I can enjoy nice food ( the old type ) at cheap affordable price around the Bt Timah area.
Yes...the quality of life for me now is such that I didn't notice how fast time passes me by. Only hope this will continue forever....even that I don't have to go on oversea holiday in future. I would be glad just to sit around on the chair at the pool side or just go on my fish feeding round.
My present routine...is to cut the bread into small bits to feed the fishes after I wake up. Then...mix in some fish feeds which I bought from the pet shop ( more expensive than the rice we eat hehehe ) then pack my stuffs ( drink bottle, sport shoes etc into my bag ) and head to the ponds. After feeding the fishes...go to the gym then "on" the sauna before going for a swim. After 30 mins or more....heads to the sauna for a 15 mins session. After that...have a solid bath at the club-house.
Then....have a nice relax time sitting around the pool to cool off before heading back up the house. Usually spend about 2 to 3 hrs for the whole session but if I am working then...I would skipped the gym and sauna part and just swim for about 20 to 30 mins non-stop. Maybe stopping to catch my breath hehehe...or when a beautiful girl walks pass hahaha. For the last part....just kidding becoz I am almost "blind" without my spec on. How to swim with spec??? But I do noticed...some do that! Head never inside water....hahaha. I swim properly...meaning my head goes under the water in a proper stroke, no short cut!
