The condo - agent called up saying the new cooker and hob things are already fixed for us, so is the new cloth-hanger thing. Now left for him to get cleaners to do a general cleaning of the whole place and changing of the lightnings. Was empty for the past 3 months come June. Last the family staying there was from Germany and they went home. Will be collecting keys next Thursday.

Last Tuesday - go climb up the Bt Timah hill, hehehe just go up to the shortest route but after going up just 40% of the way. Hardly can stopped panting for air!!!
Really ran out of gas....maybe too fast and just wearing a pair of slippers too. Never was planning to go hiding in the 1st place....but after arguing with wife just want to go "cool off" after dropping her in poly. Then saw people going up the hill and most are senior citizens anyway...so decided if they can do it, so can I lor.
Frankly...it is not that easy but if come prepared then should be a problem. So the next time I go hiding then I shall carry some water plus....wear a pair of sport shoes. At least...can have drink if tired then slowly take my time going up and coming down. Also go round the Hindhede area, went looking at the new condo - Raintree Tops condo. Nice but far from the main road...where else Springdale is just beside the Bt Timah main road. It has 2 entrances...from the main road or at Hindhede Walk which is nearest to the Bt Timah Reserve area. Sure is looking forward to shift there and enjoy the condo thingy!!

4D / Toto up-date
Nothing to look forward to...anyway, didn't over spend on these as need the money for 2mth advance rental deposit which is a good thing.
From now on....gotto budget properly and to live within my means. No more over spending on whatever that caught my fancy anymore. Oh...talking about that, just remind me to use the massage package. Think...still got 24 sessions left. Don't know if honey wants to join me or not lei???? After all....already fully paid up for it.
Just thinking out loud....what will the future be like from now on? Already lost my house....missed my honey....lost my sexual urges too. Just wondering what will be next that I will lose???

Confirmed....staying in Springdale
Yeah...it is settled. Staying there for the next 2 yrs in a 3 rooms condo and see what is the situation before deciding on the next move.
Nice quiet place...not too many people there using the swimming pools and gym. Plus Bt Timah hill is nearby, can also go for a morning walk.
Believe that the quality of life can be improved too.

4D up-date and car insurance thingy!

Wah....lately checked my car insurance price. Got a shock!!! Instead of cheaper due to higher NCB claim....the actual price for my car's insurance has gone up by at least 50%. From $550 to nearly over $800 that is after my 50% NCB discount. Then for those with younger drivers or with less then 2 yrs driving experience gotto pay for loading. And can be quite a bit.

House hunting
Wah....after a weekend of going house hunting, guessed things are more or less settled. Already have confirmed to rent a condo at Springdale. Nothing too fancy,
in fact....it is unfurnished and it has 3 bedrooms. With about 1170 sq ft of space
and is also bright and windy. It is a nice small place....over looking the swimming pool. At 6th floor...not too high or too low.
For the price of $1850 per month....which is much cheaper than some HDB flats we went to look at. Got one EA...at Bt Batok, the owner is asking for $2.3K which to us is too much becoz I still gotto pay for car park too. While for condo...the rent is including the car park already. Why...choose a unfurnished one? Well...I have my own furnishings which is a waste to throw away. And for some old condo...the furnishings are quite worn-out. The TV is just 32" LCD or smaller...or the old fashion 29" box like ones. So....I can still take some of my stuffs along with us to the new place. Btw I will be having a 2yrs lease.
It was quite tiring running around....from one condo or flat to another. Yes....some
condos are really "class" eg like Maplewoods but I don't quite like the unit I saw there....it is a 1+1 and going for $2.4K. The prices pretty wide in some cases esp for those with MRT stations near-by. Like the Warren in CCK....a small unit 2+1 will go for $2.4K and the swimming pool area look like a public pool. So many different races....they don't really care for the place. Making it worst than public area. For Springdale....it is a small development so not so crowded....and it is quite clean.
Until....we shifted out of my flat into the condo, I have no peace. Worried about so many things....plus also how things would work out. The transports for my wife and children....yes! we have all agreed that there is no problem from there to their workplace or school but have not actually do it yet. Sunday - house hunting day
Well...this is the start of the mad rush and it can be fun too esp if like to look at how others keep their flats.
For myself...I guess it is no choice thing to do, esp already sold the flat or in one month's time be sleeping in my car. So...just keep the fingers cross that it was a right decision after all.
As for now...it will get more hairy as the actual hand-over day approach but what to say? What is done....stay done!

1st May
Wah...so fast that we are already at 1st May. For myself, by end of this month I have to shift out to hand over the flat to the new owner. Sad....esp after 6+ years of staying there but really got no choice to hold on to the house. Now hunting for a rental condo for the next one year before buying again. Even buy....maybe just another 4 room flat at most or smaller still.
Well...sometimes it is just that we have to move on, come rain or shine as everything seem to happen but for now we cannot really understand why? Like losing money playing shares...not that I have not experienced losing before but after more than 7 years of not touching it...itchy backside, go play the share again. First as usual....made money then lost whatever I won plus another 200% interest. SHIT!!
Now...what? Frankly....I don't really know the future but gotto take one step at a time. Worst to worst....just gotto pay with my life hor.
